“We can’t choose when and where life happens and I didn’t ‘choose’ my way into PTSD, depression and SUD. What sane person would?” – ANDREW KIEZULAS, YOUNG PERSON IN RECOVERY
September is National Recovery Month. Here at Access Health, we are constantly working to create a community that is supportive to those in recovery. Below is a link to a blog written by a a young person in recovery who graduated from the University of Southern Maine. He reminds us that the road to recovery requires a village and that we must stop stigmatizing each other in order to build that supportive village. Do you know someone in long term recovery? What do you do to support them?
